Description
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush, adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products. May be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compability Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. Used for painting vehicles and other equipment of the German Army from July 1937 until July 1940 as a primary camouflage color (supplemented by RAL 7017 Dunkelbraun in accordance to the official regulations. however, it appears that many military vehicles were painted in Dunkelgrau only already during the Polish Campaign). From July 1940 until February 1943 used as the standard overall camouflage color.
