Description
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula and color accuracy superior to other brands in the market. Flows smoothly in an airbrush, adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products. May be diluted with AK701/AK702 High Compability Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints. One of the colors used in the Euro One scheme applied to most of the USAF TAC aircraft in the 1980s (and the 1990s in the case of A-10). Base color of US Navy patrol (ASW/AEW) aircraft from 1955 until 1971 (with the fuselage top surfaces being painted FS 17875 Insignia White from 1958). Overall color of US Navy carrier-based helicopters from 1957 until the 1980s (except SH-3 Sea King from 1971). Overall color of US Navy MH-53E Sea Dragon helicopters from 1980s until today.
