Description
A set of Real Colors lacquer based paints including the three standard camouflage colors that are indispensable for painting models of US Navy and Marine Corps aircraft used from the end of World War II until the beginning of the 1980s. Dark Sea Blue was the standard overall color until the mid-1950s when the Navy adopted a two-color scheme of Light Gull Grey and Insignia White. From 1977, carrier-based fighters such as the F-14 Tomcat and F-4 Phantom II were gradually repainted into Light Gull Grey single color finish. Includes: RC925 Dark Sea Blue + RC889 Light Gull Grey FS 16440 + RC891 Insignia White FS 17875
